Rachel moved to Austin in 2002 from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist and Certified Diabetes Educator specializing in Endocrinology. She graduated with her RN and was awarded her Certified Diabetes Educator license shortly after. Rachel earned her Master of Science in Nursing with honors from The University of Texas. She worked in the Endocrinology section of The Austin Diagnostic Clinic from 2002 to 2014. Her professional interests are working with adult patients with chronic diseases such as Type 1/Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and thyroid disease. She stays up to date on the latest and greatest treatments of chronic disease.
