John Fardal, D.O.

Dr. Fardal has had a varied professional career, including work as a programmer, civil engineer, cashier, and lifeguard, not necessarily in that order. He came to medicine later in life than most, with a breadth of experience that helps develop the personal connections with patients that are so important for patients and physicians alike. In his time away from the office, Dr. Fardal likes to spend time with his family, exploring texas both in and out of the cities and towns, playing tennis, fencing, baking, and being beaten by his children at video games.

Care Philosophy

"I believe that the most important part of patient care is the relationship patients have with their doctors. My job is not to tell patients what they ought to do but to help educate patients and offer possibilities so that they have the information to make choices that work best for them. Listening is the most important skill a doctor can have, and I do the best I can to understand not just the medical concerns of my patients, but the other factors in their lives that can have such a dramatic impact on their health, both mental and physical."
