Prior to joining Premier Family Physicians, she worked as a nurse practitioner in post-acute care managing patients with acute and chronic illnesses in the rehabilitation hospital, skilled nursing, and long-term care settings. Care Philosophy

Whether it is a well-check, managing acute/chronic diseases, or discussing end-of-life care, I believe that modern medicine requires the patient and provider to form an interactive partnership. As your healthcare provider, it is my job to educate, empower, and provide realistic options that are evidence-based and holistic. Through collaboration and thoughtful dialogue, it is my goal to help you reach an informed decision that is focused on your values and goals.

Stacy Royer, MSN, FNP-C

Stacy is an Indiana native but has adopted Texas as home after more than 15 years in the state. She spent the majority of her 11-year nursing career in ICU, which allowed her the opportunity to connect with patients and families during a most vulnerable time. She obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Texas Arlington as a way to continue her compassionate care in preventative health for patients of all ages.

She enjoys adventures with her husband and two children, hiking/running outdoors, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and sewing in her free time.

Care Philosophy

I believe that the relationship between provider and patient should be one of trust and collaboration. My desire is to provide up-to-date information to help inform and guide our shared decision-making and move patients closer to their health goals.
