Care Philosophy

"I believe that empathy is the key to any kind of treatment. If the provider is not empathetic, he/she can never fully comprehend what the patient is going through and how the treatment will effect him. I like to work with my patients in choosing the treatment plan and other modalities. I really value patient input and try to make the patient an active partner in his/her health. I have a special interest in diabetes mellitus, hypertension, preventive care."

“My goal is to be a patient advocate. I always try to explain to patients the positive and negative sides of each problem and provide all the necessary medical advice so that patient can make an informed decision about his or her own health. Patients enjoy working with me towards a treatment plan because I listen and develop a personalized plan that incorporates patients’ input and preferences. I have a passion for internal medicine where I manage patients with complex medical problems. I am also passionate about educating patients about preventative measures to improve their health and general well-being. My special interests are endocrinology and cardiology. Care Philosophy:

“I believe patients should be empowered to participate in their care and collaborate along with the health care team. The best care is achieved when the patient and their family are active participants in their health. For this reason, I enjoy patient education and involving the patient in managing their health. I like to focus on preventative care and management of chronic conditions such as HTN, heart disease, and DM to prevent further progression of the disease. I enjoy the diversity that primary care offers and look forward to getting to know my patients and their families.”
